Project drafting phase
Topographic surveying in engineering and architecture projects is a fundamental preliminary task that consists of describing a specific piece of land and capturing it on a map or plan. This work involves describing all the elements present on the land, such as streets, roads, boundaries, street furniture, sanitation networks, supply networks, etc. Furthermore, as the data is collected in three dimensions (x, y, z), a 3D representation of the land is obtained, showing the differences in elevation of all the elements. Topographic surveys and topography in general are of great importance in the development of infrastructure construction projects due to the evolution and progress that has taken place in this science with the help of new technologies that allow for more precise and accurate measurements and descriptions.
