Environmental assessment
We carry out Environmental Impact Assessments
Environmental assessment is a fundamental process for understanding the impact of human activities on the environment and making informed decisions regarding sustainable development. An environmental assessment study seeks to identify, predict and evaluate the effects of a project, plan or programme on the natural and social environment.
Current regulations at both the national and, above all, regional levels mean that there are increasingly more requirements that need to be met in order for actions and projects related to the environment to be carried out.
For this reason, we carry out Environmental Impact Studies for all types of activities: from agricultural operations and the implementation of renewable energies to complex Environmental Impact Studies for infrastructure, electrical, air, rail, port, irrigation, golf course and residential and industrial development projects.
We specialise in urban planning and land use instruments such as General Plans (PGOU), Partial Plans (POM) and Subsidiary Regulations (NNSS). The drafting of new municipal plans or the modification of existing ones requires the preparation of the corresponding environmental impact studies, including Environmental Sustainability Reports (ISA).
We take care of the entire process if required. From the presentation of the preliminary environmental report, which is necessary in some cases, to responding to any possible objections to the Environmental Impact Study during the public consultation phase, prior to its final approval.
We prepare any reports necessary to complement the environmental impact study: acoustic,
topographical, hydrological, waste, archaeological, flora and fauna, soil, etc.
